It all started with a viral Substack post.

I had the idea for "Teach Your Daughters About Power" as an essay for my memoir. Then I thought about it as a journal, but it was only when I posted it as an essay list on Substack last week that I realized that THIS is what the hood, what my communities want. So I expanded the essay, and put it into a journal.
